That's nice.

We had 37k for the Orange & White game.

Congrats to Newberry. That's incredible.

And congrats to Temple for the outstanding season they are having in their second class league. Keep it up and maybe one day you'll be able to average half of capacity of the stadium you rent.

That's bigtime.

And it's still more than Temple owns!

Ah....so a prospective stadium. One that may or may not be built and hasn't even reached the official proposal stage.

That will seat 35k. Guess we can count it out for hosting the Orange and White game.

When it comes to insecure fans of second rate programs in second rate conferences who have to come in here and mentally masturbate about some second rate accomplishments, or in JHG's case some second rate speculations? Nope.

They (and you FWIW) have a board for that right here:
http://csnbbs.com/forum-409.html

Then (and you) can run right over there and tell each other how great y'all are to your heart's content.

So? They don't rent a field like your second rate program.

Newberry has also never been kicked out of a conference for being a second rate program.

Sorry, you can't make fun of Temple when you went to Newberry. No one even knows what the **** that is. Your endowment is $29M. We have dorms larger than your endowment.

Well that's grand.

So with all that why do you rent a stadium you can only half fill unless you bring in a school who will bring enough fans to sell the other half and why were you kicked out of a conference for being a second rate program?

And most especially why are you on an ACC message board talking about how grand your second rate program is? You have zero chance of ever being a member of the ACC, you have a .219 winning percentage all-time against ACC programs, and honestly we don't care about the prospects of you maybe building a stadium that's surpassed by every stadium in the ACC except the two small private schools. You want to talk about how great Temple is go tell the three other Temple football fans that exist on the Temple board or go to the AAC section of this board. This board is for the discussion of the ACC, a member of which Temple never has been and never will be a member of.

I'm a football fan and if you haven't noticed over on the left you will note that I pull for ECU, ASU and NCSU. Hopefully it is okay to post on boards for different conferences. You take all of this way too serious. Also remember that basketball season is just around the corner.04-cheers

When I start discussing the excellence that is Newberry Indians Athletics like the idiot Temple fan does then you might have a point, until then your post is much like your webpage...utterly pointless. Facts are I've probably been a fan of an ACC school and attending Clemson games longer than you have been alive, and my family has ties to Clemson going back to the turn of the previous century.

I've covered many times why I went to Newberry and I'm not ashamed of that fact. I'm not the only one on this board who did not graduate from the school they pull for as has been covered many times on this board.

When did you graduate from Virginia Tech and what was your major? We need to know this to determine if you are qualified to continue writing your "ACC is Rainbows an Unicorns" website and cracking half-assed jokes on here.

Congrats on going to Walmart and buying a Clemson jersey. You should be very proud of 'your' university.

This is great. Kaplony has to be one of the most condescending posters on these boards. He (or she) probably has a Rudy inspired letterman jacket with "CLEMSON" spelled out on the back too.

"The school is famous for being on the losing end of a tilt against Furman University, in which Frank Selvy scored 100 points."
