I'd trade Jones for Stansbury in a heartbeat.

The dirty rumors are nothing more than rumors.

Meanwhile JJ was shady at UVA and Blaine was an alky and some of the same fans trashing Stansbury did nothing but defend the both of them.

Ahhhh hypocrites, you make the world a much more entertaining place.

Stansbury is a joke of a coach.

And stansbury has been caught and punished in the past for cheating. Lets try to separate fact from fiction.

Of course you would, but I dont think you needed to verbally say it because this is something that we all could've assumed from you...

@ Monarx. Except one thing. Jeff Jones never said he was gonna install a run and gun offense. People keep saying that, just nottrue.

A wise man once said that “patience is a virtue,” and it is essential to the process that Old Dominion is going through. “Hopefully we’ll be able to accomplish those goals and people will give us a chance to get there and we’ll see that the things work out.” It has been awhile since we last saw the run and gun style of basketball that season ticket fans yearn for, but Jones feels like what they will install will be effective and win games. “When I was at American we had at different times, different styles. There were certainly years where we were more individually talented and we played a more fast pace style and there were times when we were still successful but maybe we had some really good pieces but maybe we didn’t have the ability to create offensive opportunities,” Jones said.

Good article. I guess I assumed he said that due to it being brought up here a lot. I know Wood said thats what he wanted when discussing the search, and probably thought he had it when it looked like Enfield was coming.

RE: 2017 Old Dominion Basketball Recruiting Den
Speaking of old quotes, I found these interesting:

"Ultimately, I feel like my role is to put ODU men's basketball in the best possible position to win Conference USA championships and advance in the NCAA tournament," Selig said

"If people don't agree with that, John Wooden was not available for us," Selig added. "I understand there are naysayers and there are people who would like to take shots, and they can do that. I just hope that they admit they were wrong in several years when Old Dominion men's basketball is operating at a very high level."

Sure Wood, whatever you say buddy.
