I have to agree.Seems as though some teams at the bottom are using numerous money games(3 or 4) to PAY for their basketball program.They should schedule peer comparable H-H's.

The conference must change what it's doing or things will never get much better!! IMHO.

The bottom teams are dragging down the league!We can only get multiple bids by shoring up the lower teams.They don't seem to realize that THEY get a share of the $$ if we get multiple bids.

Can't disagree. Hopefully, CUSA is turning a corner in basketball towards multiple bids and respectability.

I would add that teams on top need to do their part and schedule appropriately (i.e. stronger) to position themselves and the conference for at-large bids.

Again, scheduling top 50 teams isn't the issue for the bottom teams. You can go out and schedule Duke, Kentucky, Arizona, Kansas, Michigan State, etc., and while maybe it makes you a better team, it does very little for the conference's RPI. The biggest slice of the RPI is your opponent's record. The bottom teams need to schedule winnable games and actually win them.

Top 50 RPI scheduling is an issue for the upper level teams, who need to schedule them and win.

It sounds to me like Floyd is echoing what Judy MacLeod said the other day when she became CUSA Commissioner. Both of them are talking sense. I hope she backs up what she is saying with actions.

Agreed, WKU's AD also made comments about BB scheduling. Hopefully this is a sign she's making the changes necessary that are within her power to change. CUSA schools aren't going to become a better TV draw overnight or because there's a man at the negotiating table. Scheduling is something schools can control that will impact the overall profile of the conference.

Gotta disagree with you here. I've seen a long list of Texas women (Ann Richards as Governor, Annise Parker as Mayor of Houston, and Kay Bailey Hutchison as Senator, for starters) excel in traditionally male jobs.

Well, as a Charlotte fan, it seems my team is picked to be one of those bottom teams this season but that is an abnormality and not the norm so I can agree with Floyd's thinking. The top of the league needs to play each other twice a season and no more D2 games, etc. I seen nothing wrong with a woman commish as long as she can get the job done.
