Riddell's off the shelf UH mini helmet is crappy bare red plastic and looks nothing like our full scale helmet. I decided to see if I could do better.

Stock version:


Improved version. The paint is Alclad bright silver base applied via airbrush in multiple light coats 15-20 mins apart and left to dry overnight, followed by Alclad clear candy red applied the same way, and finished with two coats of clear gloss. The decals came from upperdeckstudios.

Nice work. Riddell college mini helmets are really terrible. The Schutt models are so much better.
