I hate to say this but the Tigers will not make the playoffs under any circumstance. You have to understand the establishment we're up against with the committee. These guys are being paid by the P5 and there going by tradition and perceptions.

You are wrong with some of your facts.

All of this is TOTAL guesswork until next Tuesday. IF we are not top 20 on their list, I will admit I am wrong.

I think that the rational among us understand that we won't be in the final four of the playoff bunch. However, like Wolken wrote today, this will be the first test of someone outside of the P5 having a resume worthy and a signature win over a ranked team, too. The next week or so will be enlightening and interesting.

Rational....pfffft.....The mind only thinks it has all the answers.

I'm almost willing to bet that if we win out and Ole Miss wins out that they jump over us in the rankings. Stranger things have happened.

The playoff selection committee members will all be Navy, Houston and Temple fans during the month of November.

All we need is 1-ONE- loss and we won't even be in an access bowl consideration status.

While many consider us a darling right now, MILLIONS of p5 fans, journalists, coaches and administrators-at whatever level- are pulling for us to lose a game.
