RE: ESPN CFB Live: UCF a better job than Miami according to Finebaum and Kanell

Now the truth
Miami can pay more than UCF
It's in a P5 conference
The ACC division they are in is weak
They can still recruit better
All they are missing is a good OFFensively minded coach and they would be in the ACC conference title game consistently
As I said watch who applies and gets both jobs and you will see which job is a better job
While I agree with your post I don't think our current winless season has anything to do with what they were saying about the job. Miami can pay more but they're not paying on par with the other historic big win programs i.e Texas and Alabama, but they come with the same expectations and pressure.

it is funny that this is coming up from people that have no affiliation with UCF. someone else at ESPN reported that a few Coach's agents are saying they like the UCF job more than Miami on Sunday night. Tin foil caps everywhere are a little curious as to why winless UCF is getting this much love
As long as Miami is P5 and Ucf is not---there's no contest which is the better job. We all get that don't we? Espn isn't being objective here, they've got a mighty agenda. I mean...
It's Espooge, c'mon...their agenda is cut costs, not 'be nice' to those they've done so much to drive to the brink of oblivion.
Why? Because they've overpaid College & Pros for their content and they're hemorrhaging subscribers. They are cutting jobs big-time....and they are looking to cut costs in other ways. Like, say, cutting a P-5 conference. They cannot possibly launch an ACC network. They know if they do not they will lose the ACC to a competitor...UNLESS they can kill the conference and sell off the parts to the other conferences where they at least will still have a piece of them. It's not like they haven't done this before...
This ain't difficult---everything coming from Espn is basted in their own special BS sauce.
Imagine if the P5 went from 65 to 50. Yikes.
The only thing that protects the AAC is that we're not overpaid (#1), and even our crappy teams are capable of delivering enough of a TV rating to justify the small cost (#2). We're the minnow that will get through the fisherman's net.
