No, and if I ever see him eating in a restaurant again in Vegas i'll gladly call him a dumba** to his face again.

RE: USA Today article about our playoff chances
Very straightforward & logical article. We will find out, indeed whether actual performance counts or whether conference affiliation bias is strongly involved. If indeed on-field performance and SOS matter, then unfortunately we will find it more & more difficult to actually contract a representative schedule against competitive P5 schools.

Wolken with the well put together article that favors us. He still has a keen eye on us more so than most any other national writer. This is a very good national article for the Tigers.

Why do you dislike him? Just wondering.

Wolken is a friend of the program, despite his hair.

God bless Wolken.

Another thing...many will instinctively think that maybe schedules have been similar to date, but when bigger conference team blah blah finishes the season, they will have played tougher competition.

Normally that may be the case.

But...in order to remain undefeated, Memphis would have to beat Navy, Temple, Houston and then likely Temple again. All of those teams likely being undefeated or one or two losses at the most when we play them.

Considering all of that, if Memphis ends undefeated, and there are losses all over the place, the committee would look terrible bypassing Memphis...or Temple, or even Houston.

Agree but Wolken's article addresses that very issue-history says they would ignore Tigers.

RE: USA Today article about our playoff chances
Its actually pretty simple. If we keep winning and Ole Miss keeps winning things are going to get really uncomfortable for the committe.
