I think Schor could end up being a much better QB than Birdsong so I think we are still better off.

I agree with this.

+1. Not saying MB is bad, but it's about the fit in the system Quick decision making and a quick release are not the two things anyone paying attention would ever associate with the Ninja. Maybe a big arm and great size but those aren't the most important things in this offense.
I'm thinking the offense with Schor is going to be somewhere between the way things were the first six games last year and everything since then. He's had way more time with the system up till now than Vad did at the start of last year, but also just isn't Vad in the running game. The dropoff will not be enough to prevent the Dukes from achieving their goals IF, big IF, the Defense makes some huge strides the next three games.

Got to be a 1st for the CAA (and maybe any conference). Have the top 2 candidates for the Payton go down for the season.
-both Sr QBs,
-both huge talents on the field
-both from everything I've read/heard (I live up here in Villanova territory) class acts off of it.
-same size (both listed at 6'1" and 220 & 225),
-both similar syle of play
-both go down for the season.
-both are relegated to helping coach up a young, talented, 2 yrs removed from HS backup QB. I've seen a couple VU games on TV since Roberston went down and he's been on the sidelines with headset trying to help coach up their new starter. I'm sure we'll see the same with Vad.
Man, 2 months ago what was looking like a monster season ending match up I know a lot of people were really looking forward too has lost a lot of luster..
Also, i have read that NDSU and Montana have lost their QBs to injury as well... four of the top contenders in FCS pre-season. The road to the NC is wide open.
Heard this morning that the Baylor QB is out too.

Vad just had surgery on his foot. Don't know if it's been posted yet.
