I swear I'm not kidding when I say this, but EMU probably has the nicest basketball facility in our conference (besides maybe the Stroh Center). It was designed by the same firm that built the Palace at Auburn Hills.

It always looks nice on Fox Sports Detroit, and the close ups of their student section puts ours to shame.

It's not so great when you get 880 in attendance in a 8,800 seat arena.

For those interested, the EMU Alumni usually have a tent outside the gates with $10 admission that has a buffet and beer (i think the beer costs extra though, can't remember)

Yours is a long horn, not an a air horn. Besides, you can just slide it down your pants.

Agreed. Haven't been to Toledo since their renovations but EMU's is top notch. It can get loud in there too if it was ever properly attended.

What would it cost to replace Rynearson with the Silverdome I wonder?

I think this is what inspired their good basketball stadium. To maybe see THIS at home, instead of just a few miles away....

They are running a smart promotion tomorrow, giving away 1-year's tuition to a lucky student who shows up. The best part? Students wearing other school's apparel will not be eligible.

Elbow Room. Downtown. Decent beer prices, hole in the wall bar with pool tables (if its still there).

Current weather forecast:

7pm - 49 degrees, Cloudy <1% chance of rain and 18mph winds....

I think we are going to see a fair share of short passes to Braverman... and a healthy dose of the running game...

Good. EMU is weak against the run and we've got a stable of capable backs. We should just run it down their throats all day...

Last year the game was over in 10 seconds. Give it 10 minutes and it will be over this year
