Congratulations to Temple! You guys deserved it way more than WSU. The fact that an AAC team beat out a P5 team for GameDay shows how much respect our conference is getting.

Every game on ESPN or ESPN2 or ESPNU or ABC/ESPN2 or CBSSports or NBC are national tv games. Meaning they are played on that channel everywhere in the nation. I think you mean to say first prime time ABC slot for the American?

I’m not sure of the terminology, but for example the ECU vs VT game on September 26th was on ABC, but in New York the game that was televised on ABC in that slot was Ohio State vs Western Michigan. ECU was on in NYC but it was on ESPN2.

What I meant was the Temple vs ND game at ND was the first game for the American that was on the main network (ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox) that was broadcast to the entire country with no blackout areas or markets where different games were shown. Again I could be wrong but it was the first week the American was in existence so I’m guessing that game was first and others since then have followed.

You Sir. Are correct. Temple and ND going coast to coast.

What they're saying is this is the first game for the AAC that is THE GAME to watch. This is the show this week. Temple tough.

There were a few idiots who made dumb statements when it was suggested that ESPN would consider coming to the olemiss-Memphis game if both were undefeated.

I think the last two weeks have proven that such a suggestion was not absurd.

Let's face it: Notre Dame is 90% of the reason ESPN is coming.

Way to be a negative nancy.
