They have played one bad game vs Delaware and we may soon find out that Delaware is tough to beat at home. Even with Vad I would have predicted us to lose this game because of Tribe running game. Hope we can still get to 9 wins.
I've watched W&M on TV 4 times (vs SBU, UD, VU, & UNH). As far as W&M offense vs JMU defense:
Bad news:
-UR, who has a pretty good OL & RBs, ran all over JMU, and W&M's OL is at leas least good if not better. RB tandem in the CAA's leading rusher Kendall Anderson (ironically his older brother was JMU RB Jordan Anderson), & last year's leading rusher in the CAA last year in Mikal Abdul-Saboor.
Good news:
-W&M doesn't have the passing game like UR does. Their QB isn't the passer Lauletta is (Lauletta now leads the CAA in passing yds & pass efficiency) with those 2 stud WR (#1 & 2 in the CAA in receiving yards).
-W&M's Devonte Dedmon, 7th in the CAA in receiving yds, injured his his ribs in W&M's blowout win over Hampton. Laycock said x-rays were negative for fractures, bruised. So question is does he play and if so, how close to 100%/effective is he?
CAA stats bear this out:
W&M isn't as good as UR offensively (better running game, not as good a passing game),
W&M is far better than UR defensively, with Luke Rhodes, their all world LB..Without Rhodes they are still better..
