Does anyone have the full video of gameday?
I know the full NDSU one is posted on youtube. Any chance somebody could post the full video on some website, or will that be not allowed? Thanks!

I have it on my DVR, when I get the time I'm going to transfer it to my computer and when I do I'll see if I can get it posted somewhere like that. If no one else has first then I'll definitely put up a link here. Same goes for College Football Live on Friday.

I have it on our new (got it for the purpose of recording gameday) DVR. Not being a technical guru---I am not sure how to get it off the DVR and on the computer. I will be glad to post if needed.

I hear you on that. I have both DVR'd and managed to go back and watch Lee coming out of Wilson Hall because it was so epic and I laughed but can't bring myself to watch a minute of the game.

I had to watch the game again ... as far as I could. Which was until the 4 minute mark with us down by 3. Defense for both teams were over matched in terms of points and yards. Still it was exciting to watch live and more positives than I expected on replay.

Unfortunately my DVR of the game day was very choppy, so it actually has been more difficult to watch this through. I was surprised by Corso on the steps of Wilson. but in retrospect I should not have been. I noted in the last hour, that after the MRDs left - there was a large group situating around there. I am guessing word of something was out ... missed that bulletin.

I got to the Quad around 11 and my group stood back by Wilson the whole time to just say away from the "madness". I would say that at about 11:45ish (whenever Dierks showed up) Corso was escorted in a golf cart by VA state police and then ran into Wilson). That is when the group started forming on the steps because everyone was wondering what he was doing (I thought he had to go to the bathroom). Then when crew started getting setup with cameras, etc. people started to realize that something was going on. Then JMU started handing out streamers to everyone which kind of confirmed it. I still had no idea what to expect. I will say that it kind of seemed like some people went straight to the Wilson steps as soon as they got to the Quad (indicating that they might have know what was going to happen), but that may have just been because they saw the group forming.

I also wanted to mention that we (JMU fans) kind of failed on the streamer throws at the end. The JMU people handing out streamers kept stressing the importance of waiting to the very end to throw them...most people didn't listen. I would say that 50% of the streamers where thrown right when Corso walked out of Wilson and not one of them was seen on TV. Then people kept throwing them while he was talking. I would say that by the end when Corso's speech was over and he put on the Duke Dog Head and the cameras panned out so you could see the streamers being thrown, there was probably only 20% of the total streamers that JMU handed out. It still looked great on TV, but it could have looked even better.

Same here. I'll look into it when I get a chance. Would ESPN give you a hard time for putting that on youtube?

I would love for someone to post College Football Live and College GameDay on a site where we could actually download it.
You could post on any # of sharing sites like MediaShare, Jumpshare, etc.

I tried to record the GameDay broadcast at home while I was attending the festivities but my tape messed up (long story).
I would love to be able to download a copy to archive for personal use only.
I would even be willing to send a USB stick to someone to copy it onto if that was a possibility.

I will keep monitoring this thread to see if anything turns up.....rooting for the DVR folks to find a way to share it.

Welcome to the boards! Just a quick pointer though...those highlighted words make blood boil around here. You'll quickly pick up on why. 04-cheers

I've got it and there's a USB port on the front of my DVR so it must be there for a reason. I don't think I have a two way USB cable (I have a box of cables that looks like Clark Griswold's Christmas lights so I'll look) but I'll try to grab one tonight and see if it's just a matter of transferring the file. I'm not sure what the file format would be but it is 3 hours of HD video so I'm assuming it's gonna take up a ton of space.

RE: Does anyone have the full video of gameday?
I can tell you now that USB port on the front of your DVR will do nothing for you.

The only real option to do anything with content on your DVR is to record it to A DVD. The only way to do this is to get a DVD recorder (similar to a VCR), then play the show(s) while the DVD records it. Doing it this way you will only be able to get standard definition formatting, this is due to High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP).

You can also do something similar if your computer has the proper inputs and "capture" capabilities. That would be more helpful in terms of getting it online versus just on a DVD.

What we really need is to get someone who has a connection with someone at ESPN to get us the content.
