I'm sorry if I missed it. I have not seen any reports or info on Jennifer or Evans and how they have looked. I remember hearing that Evans was potentially good enough to earn a starting spot.

Also, any report on how Gary Clark has improved? I think he could be a potential star by his Junior/Senior seasons.

I think that he has star potential this year if he can knock down the ten footer.

I thought Justin Jenifer looked like the real deal. He's gonna be very good in a few years. Very happy to have Washington in the fold. Hopefully he'll step right in for Tay next season.
BTW, I think I saw Cumberland sitting at end of one of the benches in a UC hoodie.

With Nysier Brooks and Kyle Washington next season, I'm not so worried about Ellis and Deberry going away.
As far as this season goes, Ellis from what I've seen, has gained some mass and Deberry actually looks much quicker with 30 lbs off him. Might mean we don't have to slow it down so much. Mind you, I still don't think Deberry can run the floor as well, just should be improved from last year. Jenifer had 5 assists and no TO's and was playing with a hurt thumb. Shaq seems more aggressive about taking it in, I'm hoping Evans can help out this season. Evans started slow but then things started to click. I think as the season wears on, he'll play a roll similar to SK on the 2011 team that the non-NCAA trip for Mick. Everybody was talking about Scott this off-season, I think he's already physically mature enough to put in time at PF if need be. This group of freshmen, look to be pretty confident ball players. Not sure any will match Clark's first season, but I also don't think they'll need to.

I think Ellis will be draft material(assuming he doesn't go all Ron Artest on opposing players and refs.

I saw promising things from all the freshman yesterday.

Evans looks like a natural scorer, smooth looking game. Hit a 3 as well as some nice finishes around the rim.

Jenifer can really push it up the court, made some aggressive passes in transition. Hit the pull up mid range jumper to tie it in the last minute.

Scott, like someone said, looks like he can physically put in time at the 4. He showed a nice offensive game. During the summer he was compared to JJ, but I think is offensive game is superior to JJ. [/align]

Anyone know why Q Moore didn't seem much playing time during the scrimmage? Was hoping to see him show some improvement from over the summer but he didn't seem to get on the floor much.

I think you answered your own question. Also, I posted in the UA thread that Moore basically just sulked around the entire time. I'll be surprised if he is a Bearcat for the entirety of next season, this team has tons of talent and heart, they don't need chemistry issues.

I can still clearly remember Moore taking a wild 3 point shot at the end of the first half of the UK game last year that hurt our momentum and put them on a run.
