I will have to remember I can't give my opinion of my team if Memphis is included in it because some of their fans start attacking and neg repping. I will just watch Houston prove my point on the field.

His offer list isn't impressive and you can't bank on finding Paxton Lynch type QBs from guys with bad offer list.

Did you see Lynch's offer list?

And Brady Davis' offer list was short circuited, b/c he is a Memphis legacy, committed a year early, and essentially cut off his recruiting. You can't always make accurate assumptions by doing 2 minutes research on the internet.

But not sure why this is even a topic right now.

Wouldn't matter if he had one offer from a JC---It only matters what he is now. Lynch is an NFL quality prospect who will play on Sundays.

I'm agreeing with you. Simply replying to the UH fan who claims Brady Davis doesn't have an impressive offer list. Neither did Lynch, and he turned out pretty well. That was my point.

Gotcha...lol, I know nothing about Davis.

Yep, that is the great thing about sports. Houston forces turnovers, and they have Ward. Might be too much to overcome on the road, but like I said. I'm looking forward to it!

Throw the stats out. They don't mean ****.

We could hang 80 on Houston, they could hang 80 on us. They have Ward, we have Lynch. Stats mean nothing unless you play the exact same opponents and even then it won't matter on game day.

This is the 2nd thread this CFF guy has stated the same things in. He's fishing. Just hit him with facts and send him back to the MAC or CUSA boards to cheer on his real team.

This is my first thread. You come out attacking. I just really like my team and its chance to represent in the NY6 bowl. I would care if a Memphis fan posted their reason for them making a NY6 bowl. Everybody is mature here I hope and don't have to resort to attacks like that. It is just sports.

Since you mentioned it, and since Lynch is likely a top 10 draft pick now, Davis will be our next QB. Might as well get something productive out of this thread, lol.

I heard that Fuente has said privately Davis could eventually be better than Lynch. Couple of articles on him:

You are buying into the P5 BS. When a G5 team beats a P5 team, it's always "we had an off night", "our real team didn't play".

Maybe Ole Miss looked good last night because of their opponent, and looked bad a week ago because of their opponent.

While we're on that track--would Houston have beat the Louisville that showed up to beat NCState? Maybe Louisville just had a bad day and their loss to Houston was because they were "down".

No need to apologize. No reason not to be proud of your team. I only responded to you saying we had no QB in line behind Lynch.

As for now, yeah, I would be proud of Houston. I'm proud of my team, too. But I don't see how you can objectively say one will shut down the other.

Like you said, let's just play ball. Oh, and not forget about Navy, either. 04-cheers

We came out attacking?

1. You downed our Ole Miss win and claimed that if they had played like they did against Texas A&M Memphis would lose. Discrediting the fact that maybe the reason they played bad was because of us.

2. You downed our defense.

3. You claimed in the thread before that Houston would handle Memphis.

These are just some examples. Your opinion is what it is. Just don't be surprised when the fans of the team you are talking about have some words for you.

If Houston beats Memphis, good for you guys. We'll be on here giving you 100% congratulations. As I said, I'm looking forward to it!

It is how they responded after a bad quarter and half of bad football. We shut them down and were not even trying to score. I think it would be hard for ECU to put points up against our defense. We thrive on turnovers.

My takeaway from the first half is you are beatable. UCF marched up and down the field. I think Ward and Farrow are ball players, but we have some good players ourselves. I think we make it three in a row this year.

Just realized this is a parody thread about the 2014 offseason when UH fans made these threads every day. Bet the OP isn't even a UH fan.

quick somebody remind me the name of whoever it was they thought was a heisman candidate then
