I never saw USM play in the Fiesta bowl...

We have done plenty for the C-USA and AAC. We stink this year but it isn't like we will be down forever.

Comparing UCF TO USM is like comparing the New York Yankees to a little league team. If I were a UCF fan I would be insulted to even be mentioned in the same sentence as garbage programs like USM.

To UCF fans, I can understand your pain and agony! Our 2012 season at USM was probably the worst season and turmoil inside our athletic administration in college football history. Our coaching staff that year couldn't have beaten even a jr high football team..well, maybe Tulane..but certainly not a jr high football team.

Greenwave16, you are a complete idiot!!! Tulane is not viewed better than anyone..! I don't know what your personal problem is with USM but it's something. Maybe it's because we have owned Tulane in football, or maybe it's because we are natural rivals and so close distance wise. Probably alittle of both. You have no reason to be smash talking because the football program at Tulane is I'm sure the worst in the nation. Even most if not all of your fellow conference mates didn't want you in the AAC and they still don't!! Because of you..Geenwave16..you have made me the biggest Tulane hater ever...and I feel sorry that your proud school has an idiot like you on board. You are a disgrace to Tulane football...and it wouldn't be so bad if you had any form of sense but you "don't" even remotely make any at all. You must be a little 16 yr old snot-nosed punk!! Every member of AAC has got my utmost respect and I wish them all well because we were all family at one time, and I'm hoping to be reunited..but I can't say that I put Tulane in those same regards. The kid is quite comical. A school known for nothing but turning out talking head liberals. Then they make the news by having to lay off staff while they pour millions into a athletic program that hasnt seen consitistant success in anything for 50 years. Guess what? if they have sports 50 years from now the story will be the same.

I've seen UCF play in both the Liberty Bowl and Fiesta Bowl...they've achieved things USM can only dream of...so in no way does 2015 UCF equal 2012 USM.

if 2012 USM has cracked the BCS, then they could make that claim.

Memphis is in uncharted waters at 7-0 (3-0)...hell, I thought last year was fun at 10-3...this season is a freaking blast!

Unfortunately, I don't think he's a kid. I think he's my age or older. That just proves; 1) Experience isn't always best teacher and 2) Youth doesn't have a lock on crazy.

Thanks for the UCF support in this our time of despair. With GOL now retiring a new chapter will start and hopefully be better than the previous. GOL gave us something to build on. GOL should have retired after the Fiesta Bowl win but we all know how coaches just stay too long. I'm really happy that we have so many AAC teams doing great so far this season but depressed that we are not in the mix. Go AAC!

Hey, go easy on the USM fans. I always had respect for what Southern Miss accomplished with the resources they had. They ALWAYS played UCF tough, and I think they own the series record. Anyways, rag on UCF, that's fine. 0-fer deserves it, but no neec to drag USM into it. I look forward to USM returning to prominence in CUSA.

The Bower and Fedora era at USM is overall better than anything Tulane or for that matter UCF has done on the whole. The current USM situation is bad though.... but at least in a garbage CUSA USM has hope, Tulane would have to do something major to move up in AAC football.
