Game was over, take a knee
Last night game was over and the rebels kept trying to punch it in for an additional TD. Heck they even ran Kelly once. Why risk more injuries? Rebels have already lost offensive lineman.

I thought the same thing. Freeze just trying to run up the score. Frigging a$$holes.

thats where I disagree, I believe that it is entirely possible that Freeze (the high school coach) does not understand the math of running out the clock.

RE: Game was over, take a knee
Before the cheap shot targeting call on A&M, OM still could not have run out the clock. It would have been 3rd and 2 with 1:54 left but not for the targeting call that made it 1st down.

Perhaps the cheap shot set off OM a bit.

Of course, Memphis hitting a 20 yard TD run with 1:34 and already up by 17 was cool, right?

How much time was left on the clock when we scored and what down was it?

We could not run out the clock with taking a knee, so ran off tackle play to get a 1st down...then run out the clock. He broke free and scored.

Even the rebel fans I work with were complaining about not taking a knee. They said fans were yelling at the game. Last year when were down 17-3, instead of taking a knee this ass clown was throwing the ball.

A lot of players view it as disrespectful to take a knee in that situation

Score matters... Unfortunately, the bigger the score spread the better it looks...

I guess the "good sport" police should have required Henderson to fall down before the goal line so as not to run the score up even more, right?

I think if my player gets targeted and knocked out of the game with a minute to go, I would drop another seven on them for the hell of it.

He could have run out the clock before the penalty, BUT Texas A&M decided to call a timeout after a 2nd and Goal play.

Since the Texas A&M staff decided to call a timeout they deserved to get scored on.

Lol.

As opposed to Aubrun fans who think the primary use for toilet paper is to hang it from trees.

Or could be they are just hanging it to dry and reuse later.

In either case...
