Gameday was unbelievable and am forever grateful to ESPN for having their show at JMU that was better than the game itself and JMU will get dividends for a long time. Great day overall, except the game itself.
Green isn't even their starting RB. Their beat RB and leading rusher coming into the game, Seth Fisher, #4, pre season all CAA was hurt and disn't play.
Semantics. They split time. Similar carries. Similar yards. (please don't come back and tell me one has 25 more yards then the other). The point you highlighted was that he's a fantastic back. And, he is.

Well he's not their best back. Fantastic? I don't know, but JMU's de sure made him look it.

You all did a great job hosting game day festivities. You made FCS proud. We felt honored to be a part of it. Even more so by coming away with the win. I for the life of me will never understand why either of us will schedule the other for homecoming. There is some success for the home team but the visitors have won too many for my taste. This game is and will be a rivalry even if/when you move up. Neither can base the game at hand on the prior season.
I not sure about our guys faking injuries. Sadly there was more stops in respect to that by your team. I pray everyone fast and safe healing. We are not a run and gun team, but some of our scoring was at a quick paste. Rapid yardage was on our side as well.
JMU is headed in the right direction, as we are too. Both teams have good head coaches. I have to give Rocco credit for what he instilled in the team all week. Simply put he told them "we are going to win a football and not attend an event." He had the team check in late to avoid all the hype. The only area he wanted them to concentrate on was the game.
Like a poster said both defenses gave up record numbers. The W help ease that burden. I would love to see you all again in the playoffs.
BTW, how many recruits do you all feel would favor game day over the win? This is not a trick question.
Let's see.
Last year's blowout with a ton of JMU fans, or this year's close RU win with minimal old.
Atmosphere at RU or JMU.
Not a trick question.
Over the long run no brainer.....
