College Football Week 8
Not shaping up as a very exciting Sat. Our Miami win looking a little less impressive given their 1st half against Clemson. Didn't see it at kickoff but the crowd is very sparse, not surprisingly.

Pitt is losing to Syracuse at half. Butch and UT should have their hands full against Bama later today. I wonder if Indiana gives MSU a battle. Very surprised to see Utah a 3.5 point underdog at USC.

Related to College Football. Horrible tragedy at Oklahoma State, 3 dead and two dozen injured as a drunk driver crashes into their Homecoming Parade at "high rate of speed"

Houston 52-10 over UCF. Before I left today I caught a minute of the gane. If they report more than 5k in attendance they are lying

I wonder how desirable that job is anymore. They've really lost their identity playing way off campus in Dolphins stadium. I don't think a guy like Fuente even considers it.

I agree with the stadium situation, but if you can just recruit in south Florida, you should be able to put a winner on the field.

I told folks before our Miami game that the Hurricanes are a mess. Unimaginitive plain jane on both sides of the ball.

I'm in the Bama stadium crowd went nuts when they announced the final score.

BTW, in person UT is really good on both sides of the ball. Fun to watch so far. Might not be SEC uber good but they would likely curb stomp UC. Just a different beast right now.

With all of the talent CBJ has been getting into Knoxville over the last three cycles, it's bound to start clicking here soon. They've been in a position to win almost every game they've played, just can't get over the hump (more than likely due to coaching shortfalls).

How is your son doing down in Tuscaloosa by the way?

As if I needed a reason to know why it a same planet's different worlds....

Before the game Alabama recognized on the field the 2015 class of the Bryant Foundation...sort of our UCAT top level....have to give a minimum of $1,000,000 or more a year...there were 26 people on the field and they announced a list of others who could not make it today. And a mil was just the minimum entry amount.

They might take in our entire athletic budget a year on just 7 figure private donations. Jesus.

He has had his team in every game though. They should be a challenger next year. At the end of today's game CBJ was more purple faced than Grimace.

RE: College Football Week 8
I just sat in the middle of about 5000 people in ugly ass orange and watched that game. I got to tell you I don't care what the interweb pundits say, the folks that paid big money to travel to watch today in person had nothing but good stuff to say about him right now. They're little blue but they like where things are going. That was a damn good, high level game to watch in person. & I could give a s*** less who ended up winning.

Wasn't GA Tech ranked preseason? They are 2-5. What happened? They are playing FSU tough right now.

They run a gimmick offense. Either teams have figured it out or they don't have enough guys to run it.
