of 3 Dog Night died the other day. I am old enough to have enjoyed all of their hits and concerts. I was working at the coliseum in the First Aid room when they were there and got invited to join the group after the concert by Jimmy Greenspoon (keyboard/also died this year). We went and listened to Lou Rawls perform at the top of a blding on Union Ave that had a bar that rotated. It was my 15 minutes of fame.
A night I will never forget.

^That's so cool! RIP Corey Wells. I was looking forward to seeing them at the shell but he must have been ill when they cancelled the show.

According to the news, that is when he had the severe back pain which turned out to be cancer, but he died of a massive infection, source unclear.

Seems like I saw them downtown at an old theater at least once and more than once at the Coliseum. I always loved their shows. That bar was at the top of the building at Union and Cleveland. It was a nightclub for a very few years.
