Most impressive to me play of the Ole Miss win
There was a play in the second half when they were trying to make a comeback, I believe we had punted and the Rebs had the ball at about their own 25-30 yard line or so. May have even been a third down play, I dont remember but we had a COVERAGE SACK!!!!

Kelly dropped back to pass and had all the time in the world and could not find any open reciever. Finally after what seemed like an eternity, one of our d-lineman broke free and sacked him but all credit should go to the secondary for the sack.

This was nice to see after weeks of seeing receivers running free in our secondary.

They started from their own 35 and punted from their own 15. 20 yard loss on that series.

OM fans were real quiet around me.

It was really good to see our pass rush get penetration. They probably were better against Ole Miss than anyone else we've played.

One of the most promising plays I saw was the one where Chris Morley was about to be double teamed on a screen pass, recognized it, and got up field, split the double team and tackled the receiver for a loss. At that point I realized the defense was recognizing things and were putting themselves in the right position to make plays. If he gets doubled on that team, LONG gain. GTG!!!!!!!!!!!!

It wasn't a single play, but what impressed me more than anything was taking control of the ball with 8+ minutes left on the clock in the 4th q. and driving it 70 yards in 7 minutes to kick a FG.

That signified to me that this team is far different than any other I've seen at Memphis.

Awfully similar to last year at Cincy. After the first few plays of that drive I told my buddy "they may not get the ball back this entire game...we've broke them".
