Just so stupid. Vast majority of gun violence and shootings are via handguns, not high capacity ARs and such.

Yeah, I wish more people would use their brain too. Like acknowledging the painfully obvious correlation between guns and deaths.

The Constitution doesn't say anything about bullets so it's not a work around.

Homicides aren't the only types of gun deaths.

I did not say your chart was wrong, I pointed out it's incomplete.. Of course more guns mean more gun deaths. More cars mean more car deaths and more cold means more cold deaths.

If I banned cars in Minnesota 361 fewer people would have died in auto accidents last year. Of course more would have died of exposure trying to walk to work...

Banning guns does not reduce homicides, see the graphs. What it does is swap one kind for another. There seems to be *no correlation* let alone a causation between the two.

Because you said something stupid...

The text of the second amendment says -

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

It does not say "guns" it says "arms" so if the word really mattered, and not the intent, then you could ban guns. The court's however have been wise enough to realize that arms meant guns and bullets.
