MAC having a tremendous Fall season so far
Toledo #19 in football, BGSU #12 & Miami #15 Men's Hockey.Akron ranked #4 Men's soccer. Akron also finished the 14/15 indoor track season #18 women and #23 men.

If Akron, Toledo, BGSU & Miami remain ranked, this will be one of the MAC's finest seasons. Another Akron Men's Soccer National CHampionship and Toledo in the Access Bowl, how sweet that would be

04-cheers

RE: MAC having a tremendous Fall season so far
WMU has already beat BGSU in hockey this year. Most early polls go off of last year's records. USA Today have the Broncos at #22 and PairWise (most up to date hockey poll) has them at #18.

Both Miami and WMU play in the best hockey conference (NCHC) and if Western keeps playing like they are right now, then they will quickly rise up the polls.

NCHC members national rankings:
#1 NDSU
#2 Neb Omaha
#5 Minnesota Duluth
#6 Denver
#9 St. Cloud St.
#15 Miami
and not yet in the top 20:
WMU and Colorado Collage

That is 6 of 8 schools in the top 20 and if they published the top 25 like other sports then the conference would have 7 of 8 schools represented.

KSU Women's Golf is ranked #8 this week after winning their 3rd straight tournament. All five players are ranked individually in the top 100. They've been knocking off a lot of the traditional D-1 powers each week.

Akron's soccer RPI can only go downhill from where they're at, even if they win out.

Thank you Axeme I couldn't find the outcome anywhere. You would think the MAC or Kent websites would show it but of course not.

They take forever to put it on the websites, but both KSU and the MAC tweet the crap out of it all through the games. Flashes won in 2OT.

With a 3-0 win against Buffalo last night, Carolyn Condit now has her 300th MAC win in her 32nd year at Miami. Great coach and an even better person.

Didn't WMU beat Miami to win the women's soccer title today? And that's actually a MAC sport.

WMU hockey is schizophrenic.

Get swept by Clarkson (not Kelly), sweep #1 UNO, then lay an egg at Miami.
