East Carolina hosts Temple tonight ... should I bet this???
East Carolina are 3 point favorites, and the over/under is 47.5 (at least right now, on Bookmaker).

The over seems to be trending on Oddshark, and Temple is getting slightly more attention than ECU.

How should this game shake out? Any ideas??

Temple's D seems tough, but ECU at home also seems tough. Should be a good game. Better than the NFL game at least.

I'd say don't gamble period and besides your pick is gonna be as good as mine or anyone else's because they have to play it on the field, so just go with your gut.

Not many teams could survive the murderer's row of UMass, Charlotte, Tulane and UCF... but seriously, I'd take C2's advice.

Temple is lucky to be undefeated, they should have lost at UMass. Heck, UCF gave them a scare. They're good but aren't the favorites in this game for a reason.

And most teams could beat a sub .500 Virginia Tech team, Tulsa, FCS Towson and SMU but lose to Florida, BYU and Navy . I have never seen such pride in losing 3 times.

I think we're something like 28-3 since 2012 (last expansion) at home. That likely factors into Vegas' line.

I bet Temple would be undefeated with Houston's schedule too. They have one close win over Louisville's worst team in years and not much else.

The home field advantage is usually good for 3-7 points for the home team on the spread.

I hate betting unders --- it just seems un-American for some reason --- but Temple's D seems like it's pretty capable, which makes me think that it will probably be under the total in the end.

I was leaning toward ECU getting a home win ... but honestly don't know much about ECU, and figured there'd be folks here who could enlighten me. Do the Priates have an offense that can take advantage of what seems like a stout Temple D?

And even a small wager makes the game that much more entertaining. I'm not a big gambler, but love sports, and know that I'm into game more when I have a little riding on the outcome.

Navy controlled ECU. It wasn't even close.

ECU is capable of defeating anyone in the conference. Hopefully, the offense gets chugging along and putting up points.

With Temple's D, anything is possible. They could lose against a slightly-above-average, or beat a Real good one.

ECU up at the half due to a last minute TD. 14-10.

Bill Cosby's not happy!!

So far this year, favorites of 3 points or less (in games between two FBS teams) have won just under 50% of the time, and have covered the spread 44% of the time. So we're basically saying this one's a tossup.

Based on the first half, these two teams seem pretty evenly matched.

Temple bends but they don't break. Congrats Owls on a hard earned victory.

No argument, however it doesn't change that Temple is lucky to be undefeated. ECU could have gone the other way tonight.
