Pretty sure I heard an announcement at the football game yesterday that basketball tickets were on sale in Freedom Hall and that Coach Forbes would be there if fans wanted to purchase them. So I'm wondering if this scrimmage actually took place?

Bucs won by about 25 on the scoreboard although it wasn't a standard 40 min game structure so that's a bit misleading. Cromer and Guyn accounted for about half the offense. Bigs struggled a bit in several areas. Defense overall not that great relative to expectations. A lot of work left for next two weeks. Summarized from several who were there.

Their roster lists a 6'6", a 6'7", 3 guys at 6'8" and 1 at 6'9". A little something for our bigs to contend with. http://longwoodlancers.com/roster.aspx?path=mbasket

Clearly it sounds like we need work. But 25 points better than the middle of the Big South, though nothing to be satisfied with, is not the worst starting point for a team as new to each other as the Bucs are this year.
