Humbled to have a great team @gobearcats. Proud to work for a visionary in @prezono. Excited to continue #Bearcats Seismic Transformation!

#Bearcats Seismic Transformation! - interesting comment. AD rah rah fluff or something more?

I really think they already have an invite into the P5. With how much is left on his current contract, that is one thing that would be extension worthy IMO.

Why would the conference that's extending this "invite" not want us to make it public? That's a pretty big recruiting chip we could be playing.

The inviting conference always holds all the aces. It's their call as to when and where to announce and a new member's recruiting cycle for one season won't drive that. Conference championship deregulation voting, vetting of additional prospective new members or negotiating sensitive media deals could be some of several reasons the lid is screwed down tightly. And my sense right now is that everyone around UC has been told not to make any comments regarding conference realignment. Then again, there just may not be any more to say.

I agree that the inviting conference always calls the shots but my question is what would their motivation be for telling UC to keep it on the DL? If UC being invited to join a better conference is contingent on keeping quiet until the inviting conference says so, then we have no hope at ever getting an invite. We'd essentially be the fat, ugly girl who the HS quarterback is sneaking around with. No hope at ever being the girlfriend...I think we're more like the shy, sexy nerdy girl that Freddy Prinze Jr falls in love with in She's All That.

I think the comment made by Bohn was merely "coach speak" when it comes to realignment. I'd bet he knows little more than we do.

I think if anything were really happening we'd know at least a little something about it.

Since UC is a public institution why not file a FOIA request about conference agreements.

Great idea. I might file a FOIA request to make Tubs answer about why he punted with 4 minutes left and then didn't use any of his timeouts.

Why don't you go to his show tonight at Montgomery Inn and ask him face to face?

What the heck? He got canned from his last job, and he's been a super nice guy.....but nobody up stream is likely beating his door down.....wonder why we felt obligated to do this now when he was under contract for 3 more years? Did we get into the B12 when I wasn't paying attention?

Interesting move. I'm even more convinced Tubby is about to get extended into Hillary's second term.

Well, at least he hasn't hired an old friend without conducting an interview first.07-coffee3
