Now, with the likely need of funds to (hopefully) keep or acquire a football coach, doesn't seem like the best time to be advocating for throwing a ton of money out the window to buy Pastner out. Maybe some of you should start a Kickstarter campaign. I'm sure you'd have the $ in no time. Post the link here when it gets going.

Different boosters different money. Why some of you can't see this is beyond me.

Yep. Some will never get it.

I will close with stating that if all fans followed your example, then there would be no Tiger athletics and that is no laugher matter.

That's why everybody is different. As soon as pastner is gone, then everything will be back to normal and excitement will be back.

I hope the ones that stop buying season tickets will be put on the bottom of the waiting list and want be able to renew them. That is only fair business.

I imagine when the program cycles up again and demand increases that current ticket holders will have more "priority points" than new buyers. Personally, I am going to more closely explore my options next season and see if I can improve my seat postiton.

This was the year to move down. Lots of folks down there didn't come back. The seats didn't get any cheaper however.

I cannot afford to move down and I live outside Memphis and cannot attend as many games as I would like. I was hoping to move down within my current contribution catagory but apparently seats are not available.

Guess again pally. It's about how much you donate. That's never going to change.

I invite readers not immune to facts review the following link: http://www.gotigersgo.com/sports/2015/4/...01531.aspx

It shows other factors play a role in seating besides donation level.

Unless Tigers make a deeper run in the NCAA. .

No, the drop in attendance coincides with Pastner being a terrible coach.

Knockout punch

Not saying it's not true, just not giving up on BB just like you guys didn't give up on FB.

The people not renewing haven't given up on basketball. They want a change and will be back when it's made. It's how business works. And at 2.7 mil a year it is BUSINESS

This!

...and I'm one of them.

There is a measure of opportunity cost with buying out Pastner's contract. Money spent on his buyout means money cannot be spent on other pressing needs. Of course, the boosters may simply dig deeper into their pocket s and produce new money, but there is a risk that they may opt to allow others to share the load.

I like your idea of setting up a "buyout" fund and let those most eager for Pastner's removal make the first contributions. I do not expect any donations, however. It is easier to spend other people's money and stick to carping and complaining.

Just like there has been here for years, there is TWO distinct groups of boosters. Basketball only and football only.

The football ones (and rather large ones at that) have been absent for sometime. Thanks RC. But like everyone else. They are coming back to the fold.

I suspect there will be plenty of cash for Fuente if and when it's needed to bolster his current salary.

A Madame and hookers would probably work better. Louisville got a National Championship with one. All we got was the runner up trophy.

We don't need none of that cause we have a guy who makes our young men better individuals. Or at least the ones that stay.

Keep on believing that. Knew a guy who first bought tickets when Moe Iba was fired. He was on the third row at the MSC. Got moved to the end zone at the pyramid and to the corner when we went to the FEF. It's about the money. We gotta fund this athletic program somehow.
