Be realistic....no one else has stopped LSU's rushing attack, Western Kentucky surely isn't....

The best bets to give LSU fits are A&M, Bama, and Ole Miss's Ds

I would love for y'all to beat them. But, they are very strong this year. I'm afraid the LSU o-line will just run the ball until your guys are worn out.

BTW, ask the Tiger fans where the statue of Nick Saban is on campus...they love that.

I think we all feel about the same , WKU has the ability , but think we needed to catch LSU off guard ( early season game) . LSU is now very aware of who we are and I'm sure they will be ready. It's going to take a perfect game and a few mistakes by LSU to win more than likely

Unless we go to the playoff and play Baylor

Agreed.

RE: LSU Tigers
Say what you want about LSU but this freaking stadium is 2nd to none that I've seen. Rivals probably beats most pro stadiums I've been to...other than Dallas. At least on the outside.

As for their fans We stopped and ate on LSU's campus about 9pm tonight right in the middle of 70 or so students and about 20 other LSU fans and not one rude remark. I bet there are 1000 RVs already in the lots we talked to a few and again all were as nice as they could be and one guy drove us to where all the public lots were. You can tell they make about 100 million a year on sports ...everything but the basketball arena looks 1st class.

Now I'm sure I will run into the buttholes tomorrow

for western to win stopping the run is not the key for a win...

having a great offensive night and not letting LSU BEAT US WITH THE PASS. If they get both going what little chance Western has goes out the window.

Tiger Stadium is nice. You are right that's where all the money is spent in Louisiana. Because it sure isn't spent on roads, schools and services.

Have fun WKUYG and be safe

Just from what I have read they sound like typical SEC fans most expect an easy game and some even suggested resting Fournette. When someone tried to post something subjective they seemed to discredit it as being over reactive.
Not sure about Les Miles. I noticed at his Monday presser he was bragging on WKU claiming they should be a top 25 team. Not sure how much was coach speak type stuff trying make sure the team stays interested and is not thinking about Alabama. He read info that was written down and noticed he called Doughty, "Daugherty" which leads me to believe he does not that much about the Toppers yet. Not sure how much film he had even watched.
I am hoping we keep playing like we have been and make this a game they remember.

Prepare yourself to observe first hand what a program with over $100,000,000 annual athletic budget is like. The fans, the atmosphere, etc is unmatched anywhere. Sure, they are arrogant and elite but have earned that status. They swat away the other programs in this state as if they were gnats.

Bunch of trashy drunk fans and team that is guaranteed to choke away one game per year

Exactly. Stopping and eating on LSU campus isn't an indication of what the fans will be like. Those people actually go to LSU (or any schooling past sixth grade for that matter). Just wait till all the paper tigahs show up and get sauced before the game.

RE: LSU Tigers
What makes LSU unique is that it a) has no real in-state rival, nor is it b) located near any out-of-state rival, and c) the state of Louisiana has historically had one of the highest percentages of native-born residents in the country. Add it all up, and there simply aren't a whole lot of people around who root for anyone but LSU.

Alabama and Auburn may hate each other, but fans of both have to get along with one another as neighbors & co-workers the other 95% of the time when there's no game on. EVERYBODY in Louisiana is expected to pull for LSU, and the vast, vast majority do.

LSU folks honestly just don't know how to act towards other schools' fans because they so rarely interact with any. Even the closest SEC team is a 4+ hour drive away, and they only come to town every other year. One's incentive to mind one's behavior toward or around others decreases proportionately with the likelihood of ever seeing them again.

Don't trust those hourly forecast. Just looking at the radar, the chances of rain are much higher

Looks like a break in rain coming with just scattered storms around... as long as the wind is not horrible, should not effect our passing game that much....
