Pardon my ignorance, but does USM field a beach volleyball team? If they do, then I agree.

Wish ECU would get a team, you would think as far as expenses go, beach volleyball would be the cheapest sport to field and would draw decent interest.

Saying "F_Us," especially within a title, screams lazy. We fight for the #FreeUAB movement, all we ask in return is to actually use our titles when referring to us. Just like how UAB fans don't want to be called the Tuscaloosa wing of UA, we're exhausted from hearing F_U. It's becoming tiring, unoriginal, and lazy. So lease, as our conference mate who took the responsibility to make a thread, please use actually names when referring to a university within your title.

the title of this thread is inaccurate & needs to be changed. Not because of the F_U. The CCSA has been around since 2008 and FAU and ODU are already members. you cant be a founding member of a conference that been around for years when you join unless its a uncc situation and you left then came back. what happened was the CCSA added beach volley ball and changed the S in the name from swimming to sports.

So we're now an associate member of the CCSA for WBV. Ok.

Don't know about the rest of the CUSA fans, but with FAU and FIU coming in at the same time, being from the same general area, and having similar names, I have trouble distinguishing them. In basketball, they have always had a similar record and teams usually play them back to back.

They are like identical twins that people can't tell apart. One of you guys needs to grow a mustache or something.

Do you also confuse USC and UCLA? they're from the same town. Or are you just lazy?

FIU has 55,000 students and sits in the middle of Miami-Dade Co. (a county that by population is larger than 16 states and by geography larger than two (RI and DE)). It has a medical school and hospital, a law school and one of the best architectural schools in the state.

FAU on the other hand is a "distributed university" which has seven campuses across parts of the Gold and Treasure Coasts (which stretches across five counties). They have notable partnerships with Scripps for research and UM for medicine.

Maybe this will help you out a little bit.

And FAU is a leader in marine biology and other studies dealing with ocean research... And a great accounting and business school.
