The last time I saw Carolina play a half like the second half of tonights game was the season the Carolina went 0-11, what a mess. But I will give Central Florida its due, when conference play begins some folks had better watch out. You guys have some super receivers, the QB looked pretty darned good and the D kept Carolina from running all night long.

Carolina in all respects should have been leading at the half something like 31-3 considering the missed TD's and the failed field goal, but in the end things worked out as expected with South Caroina winning the game. Had Holtz been here we would have lost for sure, but SOS was able to keep things under control , the kids didnt panic and the D held when it had to.

My question , why did you guys waste so much time with under 2 to go running the ball up the gut , it worked early on but when crunch time hit it was only wasting time off the clock.

Anyway Carolina won , we regroup work on some things go on to UGA, and you guys should ( if you play like you did in the second half of tonights game) defeat South Florida. As far as CUSA is concerned, people better pay attention to you , your team is alot better than what many think.

Good luck the rest of the way , it should be interesting to see how the season unfolds for you.

WOW!! Im actually reading some positivity from you about UCF!! You can tell that both Spurrier and O'Leary still have some work to do in their programs as both coaches appeared frustrated at times.

Good that Marshall won. At one point, I was getting worried that Harry and David might pull off the upset on you guys.

I think alot of Marshall fans were thinking the same, you guys know as well having been a !-AA that when you get a shot at a 1-A its like a bowl game to you, on the other hand its not going to kill your season if you lose the game. Closer than I think many expected.

Regarding the Carolina / UCF game, you guys have the makings of a good team , with O'Leary there things will change and possibly sooner than you or others think. Marshall was making some pretty acrobatic receptions last night which shows his ability , the other receivers werent to shabby either, good O line as well, your on your way and as I said , I expect to see you beat South Florida, which Im sure you guys would love to do.

Good luck to ya the rest of the season

Well I hope that the Herd kick a$$ too, with one exception. Love to see two former MAC bretheren succeed in CUSA. As for the UCF/Marshall week: I'd expect nothing but smack from the both of us. 03-wink

Some of the best CROW I ever consumed , however in all of my post , especially the closer the game came to being played, I did mention that Marshall losing to UCF would not surprise me at all , especially after I saw UCF here in Columbia against Carolina. But the crow has been pretty tasty none the less.
