I guess the Conference USA gods decided to spare them the automatic L this season.

*We have won every single game in every major sport we've played against them since joining this conference.

ODU is playing 3 west teams. So each East team plays 3 west team and 5 east teams?

I don't see ODU winning at FIU either the chances are slim if at all. We are sucking a huge bag of butt this year with our QB gone. Things are starting to look good again with a mobile, yet not fully tested QB at the helm. We will see who knows we might surprise some and win this one.

With a come behind win at home to beat Charlotte? That wouldn't bode well for the rest of conference play. Middle Tennessee beat Charlotte 73-14

It is a good thing the rest of conference play is mostly similar teams that are just as bad as ODU and Charlotte.

Ouch. That pill is tough to swallow.

Has it been different very often in the past?

No. We only play USM and UNT from the west.... Then we have USM, ODU, UNT, And FIU at home... And Charlotte, FAU, Middle, and Western on the road.

Yeah with a fully developed team. La Tech fans know what we are capable of when we have a developed team.

With those very similar records, I am not sure why ODU is a 14 point underdog. This looks like a toss-up to me.

FIU has been competitive in all of it's games against Indiana, Tech, Middle Tennessee.
While ODU lost 49-0 at home to a Sunbelt team.
As we saw this past saturday, Bentley should have been taken out sooner. It's the coaches fault that trolls like this can thrive on a rookie QB until we kick that booty again.
