Feel the same. That targeting call they just had held against them has got to be the worst call I've seen this year, and that's saying something.

Staying at Kelly levels would have been a reach for any program let alone UC. 34-6 is not a realistic record for any Bearcat coach to match. UC has to go 7-5 with a bowl win to continue the tradition of good football. I do believe a season like 2008 or 2009 is possible but that should not be the expectation. The realistic bench mark for this program is somewhere between 7 to 9 regular season wins. The American is just really good this season. Cats are a solid team and winning 8 games against this schedule was not going to be easy.

7-9 should be the goal? I can deal with nine, however consistent 7-8 win seasons is mediocre. Maybe we have been watching a different team. The offense is close to being solid with a top 5 ranking. However, defense and special teams are atrocious. We are 3-3 and no where on the radar.

If 7-9 wins is the goal, then let's rehire Minter and pay him $900k a year. Also, we should not have pumped all the money into Nippert. That is if our goal is only to be competing for 2nd-4th place in the American. Toledo has quietly been doing a much better job at building a program.

Minter sucks. I thought UC would be 4-2 at this point. Only surprise is losing to Temple.

Big Ten refs01-wingedeagle Delaney must have been up the booth protecting undefeated MSU.

Yes, Minter sucks. However, he was winning 7 games a year for a lot less than we are paying Tubbs. If 7-9 reg season wins, which will get you middle of the pack in the American, is the goal, then I am readjusting my donation and ticket situation. I would rather put more money into a few more trips down south to watch the SEC play.

It's a shame Memphis and Houston are in the same division, that would be one hell of a Conference Championship Game.

As much as last night sucked, I'm glad I'm not a Michigan fan. What a way to lose.

Crazy ending. Imagine being in the stadium with 10 seconds left and the lead there. You are probably gathering your stuff and heading out when all of a sudden.....

Michigan's rugby punter went from an eighty yard punt early in the game to the goat.

I feel for Coop. The good news is next year the Wolverines make the switch to the uncomparable Jordan brand jerseys, so he's got that going for him. 02-13-banana

Memphis right now actually reminds me a lot of the Kelly years

You are correct. What Memphis is doing reminds me of the attitude, confidence and game sharpness that UC displayed under BK.

The amount of good luck and crazy endings that MSU has enjoyed in the last years is crazy.

Watching the Ohio State Penn State game with my wife (OSU alum).

She does not like their black unis. Admits they are copying UC.

If we extend the analogy that Memphis now is like UC under Kelly, then I fear UC now is like Pitt under Wannstedt.
