All they've proven is that they'd finish ~5th-ish in the AAC. Beating up on all the middle of the pack teams doesn't mean they "own" us.

Not only that but all 3 games were at BYU. Lets see what they can do on the road.

Let's just give credit where it's due, they deserve it. BYU took that game tonight they earned the win.

I don't think anyone is denying it. BYU played with fire in that 4th quarter. We looked overwhelmed. I'm pretty peeved that we just kind of gave up. And that we didn't take advantage of a game we had taken control of in the first half. Other than that, I can't really complain about much.

Running the same dumb play over and over as the qb gets pummeled didn't help

Honestly I think that Houston would lose to BYU on their field.

Tubs quit with 4 mins and two timeouts down 14.
He did not play 3rd down like he was in 4 down mode, punted on 4th and then called no timeouts.
Probably wasn't scoring twice but it was too soon to quit.

Going into the 4th quarter BYU did what they wanted and we couldn't do anything to stop them, so with 4 min to go I think Tubs knew it was over. I knew it was over at that point.

Tubbs quit on you guys, he should have gone for it with 4 mins left in the game instead of punting. He threw the towel in, you never do that to your team IMO, you keep fighting.

I agree it was highly unlikely but why not fight till it's over ?
It would have cost him nothing to go for the 4th down.
It looked and felt like quitting , Tubbs cried uncle!

Have you ever had to run at a mile high altitude? The US Army allows soldiers 6 weeks at a location of this altitude to get use to it before they can take their PT tests. There is no way teams from lower altitudes will ever be ready. BYU's home field advantage is more than 3 points, it is more like 10 or 14 points due to the altitude.

Towards the end I don't think Cincy had any fight left to give, Tubs would have been asking for something that wasn't there.

Holding the whole game. Smh
To their credit...BYU's O line is very well coached in holding without getting caught. This is the 3rd time Ive noticed it. They also cut block as much as Navy. This unit is pretty good.

Call me a homer, and plenty here have, but that makes the fact that ECU didn't look gassed in Provo all that more impressive in my mind.

You know I never make a big deal over playing till the end and all that kind of garbage like some people do but you guys literally were still in the game it wasn't about playing till the end you still had a chance to win the game that was piss poor coaching by Tommy T. He literally said I dont Believe in you guys.

3 great games, the BYU fans were rocking. As I said before in a non BYU thread AAC looks good on TV this year. BYU would only add to this conference.
