Considering all the hours both spouses put in, the coaching salaries, in most cases, don't seem excessive . . . .

Especially for the assistant coaches at the "mid-major" levels. They're making "mid-major" salaries.

Love to jump on that bandwagon but I've seen enough what families of other University employees put in also. Ultimately, that tasty money, it's about the market, though not to seem unappreciative. If I had to choose between a university with a good football team and one with clean toilets, not a difficult choice. Lots of love to go around for the people that make a University work.
