Agreed. I actually like playing some of these 'bigger' games later in the season.

It has been for quite a while. Jess Neely teams would usually do best in November. After that, I remember 1973 when Rice won 4 straight SWC games against Arkansas, TCU, A&M and Baylor.

1997 was a much better trip to NW.
