Cars, Trucks, Toys
Surprised there's no section or continuous thread for things with motors and wheels on here, so I guess I'll start here, whatcha got? Model, motor, miles, improvements, modifications, whatever as well.

My DD is a 95' ZJ Laredo (Grand Cherokee) with a Straight 6, 251xxx miles, swapped rear hatch for newer model that had flip up glass, got 31x10.50x15 duratracs on it with almost a full tune up as of a week ago. Some mechanical issues I'm working on, have spent almost 1k in parts in the last couple weeks unfortunately, endless possibilities for what's causing it to stall and very few possibilities left to try, but I enjoy working on it nonetheless, just not the stalling issue. I'm sure someone else here has a project car, trail hog, mud bogger, or hot rod so let's hear about it!

RE: Cars, Trucks, Toys
'11 Impala with V6

I only did a custom stereo ...the short version without model numbers and all would be:

Pioneer Head unit
Focal component set up front
Focal rear speakers
2 Orion 12"s + Soundstream Ref 404 amp + Soundstream Rubicon 502 amp in a custom in a custom built trunk enclosure that allows for trunk space to use for real world stuff but also house the audio components.--
An extra car stereo battery tucked away.
--The 404 is a 4 channel amp that runs all the dash speakers, the 502 runs the sub box.
I can deal without custom rims and paint for a daily driver but when the tunes sound like garbage with factory speakers and power I get irritated. So I spent the money on the audio system. Its hard for me to listen to car sound systems that are factory..the sound quality in the mids, highs, or lows always sounds poor somewhere and you can't turn it up to jam out because the speakers start to crack, rattle, and hiss. I am aftermarket sound system guy till I die.

Only my two rear door speakers work, but I don't view it as important to me (even though I love my music bumping) since once I'm done driving my Jeep as a daily driver I'm going to turn in into a toy.
