I'm really worried brovol, as I find myself agreeing with you alot this year....
The one good thing for off weekends, it gives me some more time to watch some other NCHC games:
Last night I caught #7 UMD @ #15 Gophers, UMD won 3-1, pretty much controled the entire game from the moment puck was dropped. Once again, Gophers are sooooo overrated and should not of been ranked #9 in the preseason and they are no where near a top 20 team (at least last night they weren't). UMD top line is good. I like Welinski, Soucy (he was out due to suspension) and freshman Poienk lood good. After that, there d-core is supect. Gophers fail to preasure them and Kaskisue was never tested. We match up very well with UMD
Caught the last half of the third period #14 MN State @ #12 SCSU. SCSU won 4-0, but from the sounds of it the game was nowhere near a 4-0 game as SCSU Lindgren pretty much stole the show.
Trying to decide what game I watch tonight, ND vs BSU or SCSU vs MN State?
NCHC did pretty good last night, prolly the only time I cheer for each of those teams as our collect non-conf results are so important to all the NCHC teams in the pair wise:
UMD 3- MN 1 (UMD 1-1)
SCSU 4- MN State 0 (SCSU 3-0)
UNO 4- Vermont 3 (UNO 3-0)
DU 4- MSU 2 (2-1-1)
ND 4-BSU-4 (ND 1-0-2)
CC 2- Umass Lowel 3 ( CC 0-3)
Broncos 2-0-1
Interesting that besides CC, ND the number the #1 team in the country has the 3rd worst non-conf record with two ties vs un-ranked teams
