Some real RPI killers on that schedule:

Grambling was 295 in 2015, New Orleans was 270, Southern was 257, Valpo was 220... With that said, LA Tech did seem to make progress last year so perhaps this is the perfect schedule for ya'll to rack up some wins.

more than half the team are JUCO transfers & a lot of walk-on athletes trying to make the teams

I actually coached one of the players coming in as a JUCO transfer this year. Are you familiar with any of the transfers?

I think Tech baseball is gonna be on the upswing this year. I like the way Goff is shaking up the team that he inherited from Simoneaux. The cupboard was left pretty bare for him in the his first season.

Chase Lunceford. L/R SS. Has a great plate approach, some pop and smooth fielding infielder. I assume he'll be fighting for the starting SS/Leadoff spot?

Yeah but they actually had a decent RPI for a team under .500...143 was their final RPI.

Commenting on a topic that was on the second page.

Our baseball program has been a joke, we get it. We had a cajun at the healm who ran us into the ground, and an administration who was complacent. This team will be better as Goff makes his mark on the program, or our new administration will make a change.
