Temple sells out another game!
This is the first time that Temple has sold out the 70k seat Lincoln Financial field twice in a season! Yep, Notre Dame is sold out. Stub Hub might have a few tix but the prices are headed up soon.

The game should be 60% Temple fans as the Penn State game was.

There is going to be huge media coverage of this game in the Philly area and I am sure in the Chicago area.
Houston, Memphis and Navy are all having great years but at this point it's starting to look like Temple could be the biggest story.

Hopefully Temple will be 6-0 after this weeks game and ranked in the Top 25 in all polls ...

The upcoming game I fear most.

Notre Dame is an opportunity.

ECU game a necessary evil.

Both Tulsa and ECU should get at least 6 wins and a bowl bid. ECU is at home and that should make a difference. Have to tell you guys that Temple took their foot off of the gas in the Tulane game. We could have scored at least 75 pts if the coach had wanted to.

As a Temple fan, I am very worried about ECU and Memphis ....

Memphis could really blow up big if they knock off Ole Miss. Memphis could pull if off if the game is a shootout ...

Watched a segment on TV not to long ago about Philly fans only supporting winners. Didn't take them too long to jump on the bandwagon. Beat the snot of Notre Dame and show the world Temple is to be feared.

Great news for Temple and the "American' proving all the pundits wrong who said big city folks won't watch or will get behind CFB team, Philly just like winners. Win and they will come. Having ND as opponent does help

I think lots of people, particularly in the Northeast, would sell out a Notre Dame game. That's a great deal nonetheless, but I was very impressed by the crowd you had against Tulane. More impressive and indicator of how well Temple is doing, IMO.

To hell with 6 wins, I'm trying to win out. Our record is a bit skewed by our SOS.

Congrats Temple! This was a great home schedule you all had.

I'm 80% going to the Tigers game there again on 11/21/2015. Love how convenient the subway is for outta towners to go to LFF, Wells Fargo, and the baseball stadium.

I am 50/50 on seeing the Owls at Pirates next Thursday but work may prevent it. Been to a dozen or so games in Greenville but never a weeknight, thus traffic/parking might also be a concern.

Fans here in Philly want it all. They want us to play high caliper competition and win. They really don't come out that strong for most opponents. PSU and ND are the two top draws no doubt.

The sad part is that we won't be playing these teams for a long time again.

Realistically looking at things. The best we can hope for when playing AAC teams would be a 40k crowd if we have a good team. 30k is a more realistic goal for most years ... Crowds in the 20s when are team is having a lean year ..

Reality is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with paid crowds of 30-40K when playing other programs at our level. It would be cool to make the statement that we expect all members to put 50K in the stands for our conference games, but with a few exceptions it wouldn't be reality. Sometimes we beat up on ourselves at the wrong time for the wrong things.

Just one fan's opinion.

If we only end up with 6 wins this season would be a massive failure.

This. I've been a Cougar fan for decades and laugh at our fans for complaining about 30,000 for Tennessee Tech and 26,000 for SMU on a weeknight. I've been to games in the past when there were 40,000 in the Dome for a game against Texas and maybe 15,000 were rooting for the Coogs.

Putting fans in seats is never easy.....believe me. Congrats Temple. With your sellout and our sellout, the AAC gets lifted.

I hope we both shock the world and have a big game in Philly when we meet up again.

I don't think I realized Temple had Notre Dame as a home game. What an amazing schedule for Temple this year--both Penn State and Notre Dame at home? Kudos. Well done!

It is great for both Temple and ND.

Temple gets a good opponent and a sellout.

ND wants to play in NFL stadiums in the Northeast.

It works to the benefit of both programs.

I don't remember it that way .You must have went to different games than I attended, I attended games in the late 70's in the Dome and Rice Stadium, crowds where about half and half. UT stadium set it's biggest attendance record at the time in the state, when they played UH, 87k at UT stadium this was in the late 70's. Just wasn't UT folks setting that record it was UH fans too.
