Tulane Parking
Hi Tulane fans I'm thinking of coming to the game Saturday to watch my Coogs and check out your nice new stadium. What is the situation on parking? Can you park at the Stadium or nearby? If not what do you recommend?

RE: Tulane Parking
I can tell you that last season I went on-line and pre-purchased parking at the ursuline academy which is only 3-4 blocks from the stadium. easy in and out and the walk was pleasant. it looked like they took game day payments too.

just something to look at

If you want something guaranteed, go here and buy a pass in advance: https://tulane.clickandpark.com/. Ursuline Academy is indeed a convenient spot and not very expensive. Otherwise you can search for something in the neighborhood, just a little tougher to find.

RE: Tulane Parking
Why not take the St Charles streetcar instead of trying to park around Tulane?

I'm becoming a big fan of light rail to avoid parking and traffic headaches...I've been taking the Purple Line to each of the UH games this year. So much easier than driving, and that's saying something considering I only live 10 minutes from UH.

Even more of a reason to use the streetcar for me. I love walking around/exploring Universities I have never been too.

Depends on your definition of long. If you're used to living in a city and walking places, it isn't long. But it is a beautiful walk for sure.

Stay in the quarter. Leave your car and take the street car to Tulane. Great ride. Gorgeous campus.

Leave yourself plenty of time, the streetcar is pretty slow and you have about a mile walk through campus.

It's a night game, just take a cab or uber back, it will only cost you about $15.

Didn't realize that. I knew the streetcar goes to Tulane, but didn't realize it's a mile walk.

Still worth considering if you plan for it and enjoy the walk. Would help if we could shake these mid 90s temperatures too...Is it this hot in nola too?

It's a really nice walk and 99% of it is on campus so you are plenty safe.

I didn't realize it was a .8 mile walk . Google says plan for an hour there in regular usage.

I've never been in much of a hurry while visiting New Orleans, and I wasn't there on game day. My wife and I were just wondering around the City and I wanted to see the campus. So the transit time didn't bother us a bit. I could see how the line would be full after a game though.

Still, if I ever get down there for a game that's my plan. 02-13-banana

My daughter, son in law and grandchildren live in Uptown NOLA not far from the Tulane campus, so I visit often. I love it, but Tulane and parking should never be used in the same paragraph. Aw hell, Uptown and parking shouldn't be used in the same paragraph either.
