A-B has agreed to purchase Miller for a mind-blowing $104 billion...BILLION.

Don't screw up a good thing, InBev! While there are certainly better beers out there, Miller Lite is (by far) my favorite of the big three domestics.

It's been very interesting waiting to see what InBev and SABMiller would do to combat the lost market share to the craft/independent brewers. My guess is they will continue to offer obscene amounts of money to purchase the little guys (as they did with Goose Island, Elysian and 10 Barrel) in hopes of regaining some of the 11% market share they've lost over the past decade.

Yep. I agree with this. I do think the craft beer market is becoming a little too saturated (although I love the selection). I, too, believe that A-B will continue to purchase up various breweries.

And so it goes: Heineken completed a 50% acquisition of Lagunitas today...one of my favorite craft brewers. Good for those guys out in California.

Wow... That's crazy. Lagunitas is damn good.

Realistically, I can see someone acquiring Wiseacre at some point in the not-to-distant future.
