Week 7 - KSU @ UMass
Wanted to provide some info for any brave flasher, who makes it out to the pioneer valley during foliage season for this game.

Weather forecast is mid 50's and 20% chance of any rain.
Tenday but soon 5 day will be a better choice from the weather channel

Will assume not on all seats are sale (extreme left of section 1) and about 2k tickets available.

Lots of good hotel/motels, but it is home coming and foliage season.

Will check back a few times. Will see about getting a turkey to fry and you are invited.

My wife & I will be making the trip to Amherst from the Philly area, and looking forward to it. Had to get a room in Springfield because everything else was sold out (homecoming, most likely). If the Flashes can get any amount of offensive rhythm, it should be a good game.

Flash77, Will be in lot 11 on the map. Perhaps if timing works out can walk out and lend you my pass to get in. PM me if you want to exchanged cell numbers as do not answer calls that I do not recognize. My friend has a white UMass flag so kook for that as most are maroon.

Of course there is the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield and have eaten at 2 places on this list which I recommend.
Downtown Restaurants

Chef Wayne's Big Mamou very good food (4.4 stars)very basic and you can bring your own booze.

Student Prince Cafe & The Fort Dining Room.

After the game the Hanger will probably be full, but excellent wings.

On the way back perhaps make a reservation and strongly recommend, Eastside Grill.
Northampton Restaurants

Amherst Restaurants

They're moving the ball against out D. We need to sustain a drive here and let the D rest a little.

The refs need to keep the flags in their belts.

Looked like a mix between Julian Edelman and a Spencer Keith. Good running and managed the game pretty well.

Gonna need to see him play well for more than a half for me to believe but I was impressed with how he played in the first half.

I agree... Looks just as good if not better the Reardon and he doesn't have 2.5 years exp under his belt. I would like to think of last week as the end of the Reardon era.

Side note- really wish Haynes woulda took the 3 points instead of going for it right before the end of half, but I guess it's easy to second guess calls like that when the don't work.

Side note #2- Bollas is so much better running the option! He has made some brilliant pitches/reads today. Again, instant upgrade over a 2 and a half year starter.

Side note #3- Shane Hynes is a damn good kicker.

Wow, what a terrible call on that punt. The UMASS player clearly stepped on the goal line while diving for the ball on the 1. How the ref standing literally right effing there missing it, I have no idea. How the box didn't challenge it, again, no idea.

Agreed- but, bailed out by Melchiori again. IF we win this it proves the age old saying that defense & special teams wins games. Final stretch- Buckle up!

Yay another drive of two runs and a pass. That is 4 series in a row with that same play calling.

Agreed- like the Miami game play calling nearly gave it away. I'm still saying Haynes should've kicked the FG right before the half and not have went for it. With our offense being as anemic as it is you gotta take points when you can get them!!! And that would've put us up by 8!!!

UMASS, however, didn't capitalize and I'm not complaining. Melchiori won us that game! We are gonna miss him when he's gone. Big win flashes, I'm getting another beer.
