ALL HAIL THE QUEEN!!

Congratulations to lucy who won Week 6 by posting an impressive 12-3 mark (undoubtedly bolstered by Wake Forest's 3-0 slugfest victory over Boston College) and rose 9 spots in the Pickem standings to a 7th place tie.

stever20 (10-5 for Week 6) remains in first place although his lead is now 3 games as opposed to 4 games at the end of Week 5. OrangeCrush22 sits alone in second after several players fell back in the standings, including CollegeCard and georgia_tech_swagger.

Week 7 is now open and features some exciting contests from the ACC, SEC, B1G, Pac-12 and C-USA.

The bad news -- I'll be typing another 'official' press release on Sunday (or Monday morning) announcing that stever20 maintains his lead in the ACCbbs Football Pickem.

The good news...? Hopefully, I'll be able to also included that his lead has shrunk from 3 games to 1 (c'mon OrangeCrush22 -- we're counting on you, Doc).

What I fear is that "2nd place" will continue to be a "slip-n-slide" position until copycat (currently four games out of second) assumes his rightful crown.

I believe our combined average point total this week (31 pts per player) is a lot better than the preseason games. Did we get smarter?
