What was his record in college? I seem to remember him booting a couple out of the building @ the Motor City Bowl in Detroit.

Not very often that you'll see both kickers in a game hit one from 50+

Just checked - looks like 53 yards was his college record against Marshall. Motor City Bowl he hit one from 50 though.

I sat next to him in ECON 2020 way back then and remember talking to him about these baseball forms he was filling out before class one day. Weird looking back and thinking he would one day become one of the best kickers in the NFL.

There was a swirling wind ( as usual) at the Liberty Bowl for that 53 yarder, and it would have been good from 60.

Weird how it goes. a baseball recruit turns out to be one of the best kickers in school and nfl history.
