The tweets I saw from FootballScoop made it sound like the AD fired the guy immediately after the game while the players were still in the locker room! If that's true, that is a real no-class move.

Some of their fans think he was fired earlier. From the way they played I by that is true. If not it was after the game before the post game press conference.

I don't know how to answer that, but if the NFL is mostly the all-star team of the P5 conferences, then could we say the same thing at every level down?

That is...
The AAC all-star team would be the equivalent of a national championship playoff team.
The Sun Belt all-star team would be the equivalent of a NY6 Bowl team.
The FBS scrub/FCS top-third all-star team would be the equivalent of a bowl eligble team / top-third team in a bad G5 conference.

Yeah, I guess your guess is reasonable.

Wait wait..I thought moving to CUSA was supposed to be some magical fix that made you super relevant and better......You would think getting to play in all those big media markets UNT would have gotten four and five star recruits by now.

The report from footballscoop was completely wrong and slanted because the "reporter" is a friend of the former HC.

The associate AD came and got Mac from the locker and he was then fired away from the locker room. There were players till in the locker room when the Asst AD showed up.

Considering how bad the reports are regarding the teams viewpoint of the HC and the QB situation losing like this does not shock me. There was more than a few vert upset players on the sideline all season and especially last Saturday.

The HC had to go and the AD should be gone at season's end at this point. A total rebuild need to happen in the AD, from alumni involvement to season tickets to scheduling, it all needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

In case you missed it NT got boat raced by FCS Portland St 66-7

Careful talking smack so early. Most FCS transfers end up sucking rather than being any good for a decade or more. I believe FAU had a good FCS run just before moving up.
