Bono Needs To Take A Hard Look
at his DC. He is not getting it done. Where were the linebackers? Practically nonexistent. And the dbs (especially Annese) looked lost. We are just not very good defensively. And our running backs fall down on initial contact. Then again, these are Enos' players (who got his ass handed to him again by Bama).

RE: Bono Needs To Take A Hard Look
I agree, with one exception. I'm more disappointed with the DL than the LBs. If the guys up front are doing their jobs, it becomes a lot easier for the LBs to make plays. I was hoping Serpa would develop into a Bazuin-like disruptor, but that hasn't happened. Seems like Dean made more plays last year too.

But yeah, yesterday wasn't Colby's best day.

Keep in mind that we were down two starting LBs before halftime, CE. Ricketts got tossed for targeting (late hit yes, I call BS on the ejection), and Hamilton left hurt. Braverman did his best Antonio Brown impersonation yesterday, and that was the biggest problem. He did more to hurt us than Davis and Franklin combined.

We also need more of a pass rush, if at all possible, so I would definitely be open to more blitzing, or at least more creativity in that area. Buffalo is going to be the second-worst team we've played this season so far, so I would expect better play in most areas.

Bonemego will get the job done in Mount Pleasant as he brings in his own players and gradually implements his own offense (spread-option).

You have a good man leading your program for the first time in a while.

Yeah, he's had a tough first year (health issues). If he recruits well, he could be our maroon and gold(en) boy.
