Toledo's beat writer doesn't have a vote.

RE: Ranked in AP?
Bye weeks are good. We get healthy, get to practice and prepare for a future opponent more. We also get to watch a USF team we beat on the road smash an ACC team that's only loss to date was to LSU by 10. The USF game kept us out last week probably. Now we're getting the respect for it. Also, Ole Miss coming up is big.

I'm particularly interested to see what Adam Zucker of CBSSN...dropped us out from 24 the prior week (despite winning a conference road game) for Navy, who lost yesterday.

Nah, but didn't have Temple or Houston ranked either, which could be just as big a factor for us.

RE: Ranked in AP?
One important factor, I think, will be a residual effect from being ranked in the Coaches' Poll for the first time last week. I think a lot of journalists will have seen that and put the Tigers on their radar for additional consideration. I think this could give us an additional bump beyond what happened this weekend.

I concur...I think more ballots will be tweeted now that CP is out. Well that, and AP ballots are due at noon.
