Not so much.

How can a school with P5 facilities and budgets be THAT bad in football? I understand having a bad season but they are completely hapless.

BG could legitimately win out.

As for Kansas, I had wondered if they could give Texas a game. After today, probably not.

Kansas is horrible.

All that matters to me moving forward though is it counts as a P5 win for the conference.

Perhaps because they're already worried about basketball there? It hasn't always been that way, heck they were just in the Orange Bowl a decade ago.

Memorial Stadium still has a track around it, which tells me all I need to know in regards to their views about football. Even fellow bouncyball power Dook learned from that. Heck, even Kentucky shows some effort on occasion.

Interesting. I just went to the Memphis game in Lawrence. I was there most of the day tailgating, and all night for the game. If that stadium has a track around it, I certainly didn't notice it. Maybe I had too much to drink, lol.

The stadium definitely wasn't impressive, though, although the campus itself is gorgeous.

That's an old photo. They removed the track in the summer of 2014.

Haha, I thought you were talking about OUTSIDE the stadium. Duh, that wouldn't make any sense. I was sitting on the 5th row, down low, 50 yard line, and you don't really notice the track from there, with all the people crowded around. And they don't allow alcohol inside the stadium, so I had zip to drink after the tailgate. 03-drunk

RE: BG win looking better and better for Memphis. Kansas?
our trip to lawrence (based out of Overland Park)

arrived on campus at noon for a 6 pm start. parked here. $30 bucks
[Image: IMAG1234_zpskqstjg4s.jpg]

killed time at a very nice hill top hotel with rooftop bars & resturants overlooking the stadium
[Image: IMAG1236_zpsc9wwmv0v.jpg]

turn 180 degrees and downtown lawrence is on the other side of the hill
[Image: IMAG1241_zpsmaz587b9.jpg]

under the stands - old, clean, nice. completely utilitarian
[Image: IMAG1242_zps1s3j8rbw.jpg]

pregame. our game most likely will be their highest attended when all said and done. between 25 & 30k there. no track. crappy seat location

Aha. I KNEW I didn't see a damn track. And I wasn't drinking at the stadium, either. Thanks.

I'm not sure if they will or won't but BG has lost 5 straight in the rivalry (some on wild finishes) and they are chomping at the bit for that game. Toledo is going to get everything they have. We'll see.

I won't be surprised if Toledo has to beat them twice for access bowl purposes.

Just getting the #1 RB Kareem Hunt back. Played part of the Kent State game and had 2 TDs. Since Toledo replaced all 5 starters on the OL, they are just coming together.Either BG or Ohio U should win the East.
