CMU fans "dis" Bronco win.
From "Chiprule:"

"This game was given to, not won by wmu."

Really? 01-wingedeagle

How 'bout you just admit CMU was out-classed, out-coached, and out-hussled.

The better team won...for the 3rd time in four years.

Deal with it!

RE: CMU fans "dis" Bronco win.
CMU lost that game in the first quarter with a bunch of dumb penalties and mental mistakes.

They came out TOO energized, out of control, and it got the best of them IMO.

Once they settled in, it was a tight game the rest of the way.

I'm not sure we win that game if it goes to a 5th quarter.

But I'll gladly take the W anyways, ANY DAY over cMU. 04-cheers

Ohio State has a few close calls, have yet to cover the spread and yet they are still #1 in the nation.
Why?
Because they win them all!

That is all that maters!

WMU wins and CMU loses. Enough said. 04-rock

28 points left on the field although 7 of those were because we took the knee at the end.

CMU has had a pile of these faux close games where teams let off the gas and try to control the clock. Eventually teams will just keep throwing it and running up 40-50 points. So too will team just sit on the pass.

Rush is very accurate, but when your predictable it eventually catches up with you.

Chiprule is a fool...The only dam thing given to us was the last 8 minutes and 24 seconds we took off the clock....
When it mattered the most, we shoved the ball down their figgin throats....

Yeah, he loves to spout all the mistakes that a clearly superior cmu team made to defeat themselves. But he conveniently forgets about things like all the points WMU left on the field or the fumble that lead to a chimp TD. From that perspective, it sure looks like our Broncos dominated the day sans the few minor hiccups.

Oh, and you know...SCOREBOARD

That poor dope is the ultimate mouth breathing Slappy. I think his head's about to explode. All these faux close games has him believing that were it not for bad bounces they 6-0.

All those darn silly mistakes they made to beat themselves.

Well duh - 4 of 5 games are lost, not won.

Because GOOD teams don't beat themselves.

I am admittedly biased but watching game from coach's perspective too, we have better players almost across the board than they do.

RE: CMU fans "dis" Bronco win.
First off, congrats on the win. Sucks to lose anytime in this rivalry, but it's even worse when you have expectations of success - something I personally haven't had in years.

There's no reason you can't win the West. There are plenty of tough games on the horizon, but no team in this league will be able to match up with Davis, Franklin, and Braverman. It'll take a really bad day by Terrell or your defense getting torched (probably both) for you to lose a game you shouldn't.

I won't lie and say I'm rooting for you, because I'm not. I think peejay is a first-rate dbag - that said, I confess to being impressed with what he's built in his 3 years at wmu. I hope we have a guy that can eventually do the same, but it won't be this year.

I agree (shocking), even about Peej being a douche. 04-cheers
