Chubb hurt
The Chubb injury is going to make the Fournette talk about the NFL really pick up this week.

RE: Chubb hurt
That injury was ugly. They didn't show the replay. It was that ugly.

RE: Chubb hurt
yeah it was. What is it with top tier SEC RB's and devastating injuries? This is like 3 in the last 3-4 years- Lattimore, Gurley, and now Chubb.

The only way to stop a really dominant runner is to pin his legs together, which means a lot of folks are going to be going for his legs, instead of higher up, where the odds of tackling him are greatly reduced.

It's simple logic.

RE: Chubb hurt
I happened to catch it (semi-)live on WatchESPN on AppleTV, waiting for NDSU second half to start. They showed it and replayed it there.

As soon as I saw his knee buckle backwards like that, I knew he was done for the year. That's really too bad!

Georgia has a lot of injuries at Tennessee. They lost 4 players there two years ago to knee injuries. I wonder if their turf needs to be replaced.

I think the SEC refs tend to let more stuff go than other conferences. It was a late hit on Chubb. Not flagrant, but he was already out of bounds and there was no flag.
