Florida and Alabama on upset alert
Alabama should lay the hammer on Arkansas...but will they?? Which Alabama will show up? The Hulk or Ant-Man? I think you'll see some rustiness from Bama show up, especially at the QB position, and Arkansas will be going full steam ahead because it's Bama....

Florida is in the same boat, but it's worse....it's on the road. Can they duplicate last week again? Mizzou is sneaky in the SEC...

Last year Alabama snuck out of Arkansas winning by a point. We'll see what develops this year. Florida just doesn't need to have that let down game and they'll be alright against Mizzou.

Florida is for real and we have no offense. Positive things ahead for our true freshman QB though. Our D will keep us in most games. Looks like the Gators will win the East. Hate what happened to Chubbs.

The Gators now have essentially a two game lead on everyone in the East. Since they beat Kentucky head to head they have what amounts a two game lead over them as well. They only have Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Georgia left from the East. If they get past L.S.U. you have to like their chances to be undefeated going to Atlanta. We'll see, but they are a complete team.

Florida is for real. They look to be the most complete team in the SEC as a whole, not just in the East. Got to give props to their new coach, he is right up there with Harbaugh in terms of quickly turning around a program. I honestly didn't think he would last long there, boy was I wrong.

Florida is the more complete team between them and LSU. If that stud Florida defense can hold Fournette to a mild rushing performance (150 yards?) then I don't think LSU is prepared to respond with the pass. This could very well be Florida's year.

I still think Alabama is the most complete team. It took an absolutely awful game from them to lose by 6. 5 turnovers.

Florida is good on defense and good enough on offense to win the East, but I'd err on the side of caution for the Gators. Ole Miss isn't near the team they were hyped to be.

I could honestly see this being the year that no one from the SEC gets in. Especially if LSU beats Florida and Bama beats LSU.

Florida is catching every break this season, which sometimes is what happens.

I agree with your thoughts on Alabama, and was going to re: Florida as well but news broke today that Wil Grier is out for one year's suspension on account of PEDs. Wow!

Does UF have enough of a cushion built to win the East still yet without much problem even without him? They are at least two up on everyone, including my Wildcats, by virtue of head-to-head win. They have a road game with LSU and Cocktail Party game and otherwise a very favorable schedule to the best of my memory.

With Georgia's RB problem and now the Gator QB, Kentucky might take this thing.

Gator QB out now...

LSU wins 24-16

I've still got Bama on upset alert too....Texas A&M has had 2 weeks to prepare for this game, it's at home, they should be fresh

Well at least there is a much higher degree of probability that both could lose this week, as opposed to the odds last week or the week before.

Depending on how good Bama's D is, I see aTm winning that one at Kyle Field while Florida vs LSU looks like a preview of the SECCG. I just wanna see how good those two programs are.

On a side note, nice to see Kentucky with a sold out home football game against Auburn on a Thursday night. I got a feeling Arkansas might be forced to some of these weeknight games if they don't start playing more consistent. 05-mafia

I don't think it would be an upset for A&M to win this week. Our secondary is still shaky and we have QB issues. Not sure we can win a shootout if we're forced into one.

I didn't think we'd lose to Arkansas, but A&M is a bad matchup.

Bama vs A&M is a tricky match-up to predict. My heart says the Aggies should probably win this by two touchdowns at Kyle Field, but my mind is telling me Saban could pull a bunny out of a hat and keep A&M under ten points that game. My guess is A&M wins this one.

I also have LSU over Florida now that Grier has been suspended. I have no clue who the backup is, so I'll just play the odds game there.

Michigan vs Michigan State will be the battle for the B1G East title spot until that winner plays Ohio State.

Florida and Alabama on upset alert
With Kentucky's loss Thursday night, Florida has a little bit of a cushion even with a loss tonight.

The worst case for the SEC is that Ole Miss wins out in conference play, only to get beaten by a one-loss Florida - at that point Alabama or Florida may not be able to make the Top 4 with one loss.

As a hog fan, I know the SEC refs will not allow that to happen to Florida.
